Shanghai is upholstered in the fabric of your choice.
A traditional non-adhered upholstery method is used and Shanghai is well-suited to a wide range of fabrics but looks its best when in a medium to heavy-weight fabric. Shanghai can also be upholstered in vinyl and leather.
Any upholstery covering chosen should be rated suitable for Heavy Commercial Use, that is having passed an abrasion test to at least 40,000 Martindale rubs.
Our key NZ fabric supplier partners are Textilia and Warwick, who both offer an extensive range of modern Heavy Commercial upholstery coverings.
Eden stock a standard range of fabrics and vinyl to enable fast despatch.
Our recommended stocked fabric is Warwick Keylargo, a heavy-duty polyester fabric with a relaxed marl aesthetic and natural soft feel. It offers large range of colours.
Our stocked vinyl is Warwick Lustrell Charisma, a hygiene-easy vinyl with a soft handle and a premium matte leather-look finish.

Recommended Maximum User Weight
Eden seating is designed to suit a very wide range of users and we recommend a Max User Weight for each chair to provide an easy reference for users.
Our recommendations are based on our knowledge of the chair componentry and construction, and on the size of the chair. Chair components are tested to international durability standards, and our chairs are built to provide support and comfort for the majority of user builds.
WARRANTY
Shanghai Chair is warrantied for 10 years in normal commercial-use situations.
Eden will either repair or replace free of charge, chair parts or whole chairs that exhibit materials or construction failure, or faulty workmanship within this period.
